A collection of over 60 folk tales by expert in the field Robin Gwyndaf. Includes the stories of Cantre'r Gwaelod (Ceredigion), Nant Gwrtheyrn (Gwynedd), Gwenffrewi (Flintshire) and the death of Llywelyn the Last at Cilmeri, beautifully illustrated throughout by much-loved artist Margaret D Jones. The volume also addresses old Welsh customs such as Calennig, the Mari Lwyd, Gwaseila, Hunting the Wren and the Caseg Fedi. The original volume was extremely popular and was reprinted several times by the National Museum Wales.
