The Nene Valley Railway, based just outside the city of Peterborough, is home to a diverse collection of locomotives amassed from around the UK and further afield. The railway has developed a well earned reputation as a center of preservation in the UK, with many items of rolling stock imported from Europe, in addition to examples from the local sugar industry. This top quality full color illustrated hardback, written by one of the line’s locomotive drivers, showcases both the resident collection and visiting locomotives as they work both passenger and demonstration goods trains through the Cambridgeshire countryside.
