Kyice is one of the foundation texts of the modern Czech literary canon. It inspired the composer, Antonín Dvořák, to write his famous tone poems. The collection has inspired countless other musical compositions, artworks, TV and movie adaptations.
Susan Reynolds has worked at the British Library for 20 years in various roles including Curator of the Czech, Slovak and Lusation Collections.
