Anneliese Voigt-Peters
Anneliese Voigt-Peters was born in Bellville. She studied BA Fine Arts at the University of the Freestate, and Illustration at the University of Stellenbosch. In 1997, she won the Vivian Wilkes Award for children’s book illustrations for The Red Dress, and in 2007 she received the Exclusive Books - IBBY South African Award for Ouma Ruby’s Secret. She currently lives in New York with her husband and two sons.
